We went there for a birthday dinner, and the overall experience was disappointing. The shared salad bowl was tasty and fresh. The vegetarian dish hiwever had dry pieces of polenta, with overall little flavor and lack of some sauce to make it more interesting. We thought the daily fish plate was very expensive at CHF48, considering the somewhat pedestrian peas and mushroom veggies that came with it. Our server was curt to the point of being unfriendly, never came by to ask if we wanted another glass of wine, and no thank you or good by when we left. Considering the price point of the place not very satisfying.
I will say the service was mediocre at best, but the pasta and risotto were worth suffering through the poor service!! Order a glass of wine (maybe just order two at the start so when you are abandoned you will have wine and food and...not really care) because the food really is worth it!
The service was fast, but the food was sub-par. I loved the fries but could barely eat the Poulet (which did not taste like lemon at all). For the price, the burger was disappointing and small. The salad contained half a tomato and was not entirely fresh. We would not eat here again.
Food was well made and nicely plated. petite tender was good BUT considering the cost of a 2nd Cut i really expect more than 130-140g of beef. Over all, the portion sizes were a bit on the smaller side. The staff is very friendly, but struggled a bit with understanding swiss german.

The Cozze were very tasty, would be happy again. The restaurant is quite small, but it's worth making a reservation. Service was very friendly and quick.
Food is good and fresh, view, is amazing. But the service was kinda keeping me from going there...
Good bar, cozy atmosphere, great location, nice interior and good beer.
Mega, giga, cozy place to stay in Bern. Highly recommended.....
