When i tell you this place is AMAZING…. BRUH!Me and my fiancé recently moved to westhaven and was searching for a restaurant that we loved. Well we found it! The menu had a lot of variety, theres something for everyone here! The specials is where they at! We were told the specials and man when i tell you…. i wanted it all! My gf and I had recently taken a trip to the area and tried to find as many great food spots as we could! On our 2nd day we stopped into this joint for an early dinner. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the vibe was great. Our server Kelsey T made us feel at home right away, she suggested our first round of drinks and they were amazing. She was very attentive throughout the whole meal and kept the drinks coming. The whole experience was awesome. Thank you very much to Kelsey and staff, also Gary was very helpful as well

I discovered a hidden gem with amazing specials today - Buffalo fried oysters for an appetizer and eggplant parm for lunch/dinner. Both dishes were incredible! The restaurant is conveniently located across from Oyster River Beach, offering a fantastic view and atmosphere. The bartender/waitress was exceptional and attentive. Special thanks to the two chefs in the kitchen and our awesome bartender for a fantastic experience!

I dined at this restaurant twice in two days because the fresh oysters were absolutely delicious! They were so fresh that we devoured two dozen the second time we visited. The fish tacos were also excellent, so we had to order them again. The staff, especially the ladies, were very attentive and accommodating. The IPA draft beer was also fantastic. The menu at this restaurant is excellent. It's not your typical beach fare, like a greasy clam strip platter. The Ahi Tuna sandwich is especially tasty, with just the right amount of Wasabi sauce to give it a kick of flavor. The renovations done since the previous tavern closed have really improved the place, with an outdoor patio and additional seating outside on the opposite side.

This was my first time at Rip Tide. What a Great time! Great atmosphere! The two ladies working the floor were excellent! My waitress gave me excellent suggestions!!! The French onion soup was excellent. It was one of the best that I've had yet and it was what I needed on a cold rainy day. It didn't just fill me up. It warmed me up with a smile. I will be returning with friends!

And authentic neighborhood restaurant where some of the people have been coming here for years and are on first name basis with the staff and owner. Even if you’re not, it’s a friendly place. Good selection of beer, seafood, and dinner or lunch entrées. Pleasant service, outdoor dining in season. Right next to the beach. Hard to go wrong

Great lunchtime views of the water when you sit outside. The seafood tacos were excellent. The burger we order was good but fell apart and was hard to eat without making a mess. Good serving sizes and the staff is friendly. Reserva una mesa ahora

instead of having my usual tasty chicken sandwich, I decided to try the chicken parmesan dinner and it was absolutely fantastic!
