Worse breakfast ever!!!!! The homefries dripped grease and tasted exactly like grease. The shrimp in the shrimp and grits was overcooked therefore inedible. The bacon was deep fried and overcooked. The brown n' serve sausages were deep fried therefore inedible. The pancakes were dry, unflavored and straight out the box. I've had better pancakes at MCD. The waffle was so dense with no flavor to it. This restaurant could be better if they took their time when making their dishes. If your going to use store bought items add your own spices, flavoring too it to make it stand out. This was unacceptable and inedible food to serve to anyone. I really hope you guys can improve.
I ordered from this place through Uber eats and my food is so disgusting I couldn’t finish it. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon hash browns and toast with a side of grits and the only half decent item is the grits. Out of three pieces of bacon one is burnt. The other two are not completely cooked. The eggs are runny. The hash browns taste like they are soaked in oil. The toast is missing completely. I expected way better from some of the reviews I read before ordering and I’m very disappointed.
I attempted to call the restaurant over 15 times to report the mistake because I had someone on the way to pick up the missing meal. I wanted to ensure they wouldn't give me an old meal and that they could start preparing a new one. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone, so we had to continue waiting. This really spoiled our Sunday brunch!
This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was very disappointed home fries looked and taste like they were soaked in grease. Over hard eggs were disgusting and old tasting. The bacon didn’t taste fresh at all. They need a new cook!

They really need to hire more people. The wait time when picking up your food is too long. I feel bad for delivery people because they are caught in the slow cycle of waiting for food when they could be on their way to another delivery.
The dining room was closed, so we grabbed breakfast to go, and the flavors were on point. Certainly not somewhere to stop if you're watching your calories, but if you want very tasty coffee diet food, you're in the right place!
The salmon patties were excellent, and the front desk staff was friendly, although it would have been better if her mask had covered her nose. Overall, the food was delicious; I had the salmon breakfast, and it was very good.
Excellent food. Reminds me of my grandmother's cooking. Breakfast is my favorite meal so I am picky about it. Rise Shine Eatery does not disappoint. The fish and grits is amazing and the chicken and waffles are on point.

The sign said dining in was open, but when I went inside to sit down, I found no one around and the dining room was closed off. It's puzzling why the dining room is closed... quite amusing, actually!
Love love love this place. Good people and good food. Doesn't get any better. Being from the south and can't find decent grits since moving. I say u have to Try the grits. Amazing.
