I ordered food online from this restaurant's website in the afternoon for a family anniversary celebration. Unfortunately, the food did not arrive for over 2 hours. When I called to inquire about the delay, the person I spoke to was rude and questioned why we had placed an online order when they were not operational in the afternoon. Even after explaining that the order was placed through their own website, she was still skeptical. She said she would address the issue (including a refund) once the kitchen opened at 4 pm, but I never received a call the next day. This restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of Aberdeen. We attempted to dine here twice, only to find it closed on the Monday (due to a recommendation), but were pleased to return on Tuesday. The staff is friendly and the food is deliciously seasoned. We sampled a variety of dishes ranging from North Indian to South Indian cuisine, all of which were expertly prepared. The only disappointment was the Schezwan fried rice, which was a bit too oily and overpowering in flavor. However, the dosa, vada, and sambhar were fresh and bursting with authentic Kadi-Patta flavors. Overall, a great dining experience.
We had a wonderful dining experience here last night. The staff's understanding of gluten intolerance was impressive. The manager personally came over to explain to us what options were suitable for our daughter and what she should avoid. They were very conscious of preventing cross contamination and took extra care to ensure her food was served separately. The meal was delicious and we highly recommend this establishment.
My mother and I decided to try both the non-vegetarian and vegetarian thalis, which were great deals for the price. The flavors were fantastic! We had a wonderful meal on April 6th, 2022. This restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy a thali. And make sure not to miss out on the lassi!
