we live locally and thought we would dive during the jubilee celebrations. it was just packed and standing room - we had luck as we found a table outside. my partner and I had a few dishes to share with our drinks. what was ok- I was quite shocked at the Mediterranean loaded pommes in the grunde a part of fritten with a few olives and a few cubes of feta on the top. 9.50- shocking. we also had several rounds of drinks I had a prise bright and other half a medium rose-11 for these two drinks. I assume that they have inflated the prices for the jubilee, as there was no entry. was a shame, how will think twice before going back, as it was not a good value.
We have been here for the past 4 years. They have recently changed their menu. WOW It’s absolutely awful !!!! The chips are like something you get from a kids play. The sauce is the cheapest you can find! What a shame we loved this place but being back the old menu awful food and presentation ! You were a great local pub , it’s the first time in 2 years we had to send food back Being back the old menu and chefs , this food is awful we even heard a couple next to us complaining about theirs . What a shame
I had a fantastic dining experience at this pub. There were plenty of parking spaces available during the day. The price per person was between £20 and £30. I would rate the food a 4 out of 5, the service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Fish and Chips and the Cheese and Onion Pie. The parking lot was spacious and offered free parking options.
This charming pub offers fantastic food served by friendly and attentive staff. We can't wait to visit again. Price range is £20-30 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch. I met up with friends for a Sunday afternoon meal at this restaurant. There was easy parking available in the back, and we all found the food to be excellent. It may be a good idea to make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant was quite busy.
Great pub, easily accessible and friendly staff. Good choice of menu. Food excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the village. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
