Update: The boss personally called me and apologized. I call customer service and many restaurants should cut off a slice. We also got a little reparation. The food was good. I had reserved a table for me and my wife for our anniversary at 5 p.m. Our table was not covered and so we stood at the entrance for a few minutes until we were allowed to sit. Our family enjoyed a lunch and dinner at this fine eatery. Biagio (the owner?) was a most gracious host, finding seating for us on a busy evening. Unlike many restaurants in Germany, this one actually provides attentive service. The servers actually checked with us on a few occasions during the meal to make sure that all was okay. We had risotto, pizza, pastas, soup, salads during our two meals here. Each was extraordinary and prepared with great care. I make pizza myself, and I only wish I could make crust as good as they do here. The minestrone soup was ever so fresh; the vegetables were perfectly cooked and the broth ever so tasty. outstanding food! we had the octopus with artichoke cream as an appetizer and i can honestly say it’s one of the best dishes i’ve ever had. celiac/gluten free friendly pizza which was amazing. we also ordered the swordfish pasta special, gorgonzola risotto, ribeye, and fettuccine and all of it was perfect. the only downside was our entrees did take around 45 minutes to come but we were a table of 6 and it was worth the wait. We dropped by quite early in the evening with two small children and no reservation, and were treated to great food and fantastic service. Between us we tried a risotto dish and two pasta dishes, which were all really, really good. The informal and warm service was appreciated by all - children and grown ups alike. Thank you for a fantastic meal!
This is very good, authentic food. The portions are adequate but not huge, unlike many restaurants in the USA. They have a good wine list and also a good selection of beer. The service is excellent and our waiter has a great sense of humor which added to our great experience. We found the prices to be very reasonable for such excellent food.
