Bella Italia - Reserva de mesa

I don’t really know where to start with rating this restaurant. It looks inviting from the outside. When we got in and went down the stairs I had a feeling I’m going in to a toilet, not a restaurant. When you finally enter the restaurant...it looks nice but not impressive. A sort of fake Italian style. Grilled Scampi were OK, pasta was tasty but slightly overcooked. All together eatable but nothing wow. Wine per glass? Acceptable but they should find something better. Range of deserts very poor and not tempting. We decided to skip it. Espresso was poor but still the best I had in Halle. Service was poor. Waiter was trying to impress with Italian (although he explained he was born in Germany)...

Visited in a small group with probably more negatives than positives. Positives the portion sizes are very good and the prawns in garlic were very tasty. Negatives are that we booked a table well in advance and when we visited there was no table prepared...but that was quickly rectified but I’m afraid our mains were pritty average with one of our party highlighting this with both the pasta and pizza. If your a fan of bread then you won’t be disappointed as they provide a tables worth. In all it was ok but can’t see us returning again. Reserva una mesa ahora

It was ok.. -Food was ok but not really "Italian" -We order an antipasti which it wasn't at all like something Italian, it was only a lot of tomato sauce ...-The main dishes were eatable but nothing wow ...I wouldn't eat there again. The waitress didn't even know the name of some desserts.-Tables are really small-the waitress tough we don't understand Italian and made fun of us with another waitress when we came -

we dined here with extended family - 9 of us - 172 Euros in today - thought it was excessive for what you got given the simple dishes we hadalso thought we were being pushed to take expensive wines when the local plonk would have donenot a big range of desserts - felt they were bought in and dressed up place could do with a bit of a clean as well

Wow.. It is just great when you really feel like good pasta meal or Pizza... and you find one. Lasagne was great... and so was the Pizza. The fresh tomato sauce that is not out of a bottle but truly made from fresh tomatoes just...does it all... Fab... Reserva una mesa ahora
