During my first visit to Germany, I chose to visit this restaurant on the first evening of my stay in Aalen. As an English speaker with no German, I was unsure how the experience would be. On arrival, I was greeted by a very friendly young lady, who I could not fault. She was very welcoming and efficient. The food was very quick and fantastic. The waitress was always on hand, polite and helpful. The food was very reasonably priced and homemade. During my 4 day stay in the area, I re-visited, and again was greeted by a very friendly and polite young lady (a different one). I recently visited this restaurant as I was recommended by colleagues from Aalen who knew the owners well. The recommendation was well deserved. The menu was obviously Italian led but with some traditional Southern German touches. My choice was Penne Arrabiati and although I have eaten this dish in many "Italian restaurants" including many in Italy, the ingredients, tomato, garlic and chilli were obviously fresh whilst the pasta was home made and lived up to my expectations. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others who want great service with quality food. The owners were delightful and could not have been more helpful (no English though I'm afraid!)
I go there almost every time I visit Aalen. This time, it was not an exception. Quality and service are very consistent . Atmosphere is good, although it may be difficult to find a table depending on the day of the week.
This was a very positive experience, from the warm welcome and service to the tasty, fresh, home-made style food. It was a real taste of Italy, definitively a place to return when back in the neighborhood.

This is a great option for Italian food. Good executive menus for lunch, nice options for dinner, including very good Aperol Spritz. Confortable and with good service,mit is normally full for dinner.
The first thing that happened was a warm handshake by the owners. Then we were served a good starter, an excellent steak and finished with a good dessert. It is worth while a visit.
everything fine in here BUT: cold dishes, wines too expensive, menu card shows always the same, since 20 years the same still good
