This restaurant is next to the Danube river. The food was authentic Italian not pretending to be Italian like so many out there. We ordered the cured meat platter good for 2 people, The Calabrian pizza and the Papardelle pasta with shrimps. Very good! Their...desserts also look authentic although we were way too full to try. They had Cassata which is a rare find. The waiters are friendly and very doting with the cleanliness of the tables. Highly recommended! Will be back! Best to reserve because it is always full. Then trek to Durnstein for a romantic walk
July 2021: We stayed in a bed breakfast just over the corner. Seeing how crowded this place was in the afternoon, we asked if a dinner reservation was possible and were really lucky to get one. The food was just amazing rich in flavour and served hot. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the tiramisu was one of the best I had eaten. If we are around next year, we´ll definitely be back! 2022 update: we came again and the tiramisu is still the best!
If you are looking for an authentic Italian restaurant that is actually ran by Italians and serves real Italian food this restaurant is a must. Add to this excellent service (in English as well), lots of vegetarian options and DELICIOUS deserts and you get a dinning option that is hard to beat. I have dined there with my wife and 2 kids (8yrs, 10yrs) and all of us enjoyed it very much. Highly recommended!
I was surprised by italian atmosphere here, the food was great , and nice staff. We visited this restaurant on Sunday , it was busy but everyone was nice and smiling. We had an appetizer, minestrone soup, simple pasta dish and pizza, and tiramisu as dessert and it was amazing! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

Endlich ein richtiger Italiener mitten in Krems-Stein! Autentische Küche, autentische und freundliche Bedienung sowie tolle Qualität des Essens. Sogar die Pizza ist vom Feinsten. Schwerpunkt liegt aber auf Pasta und sonstige italienische Speisen.
