I live in LG and ITALIA is my favorite italian restaurant in Lüneburg.It's in a nice half-timbered house, the interior decor is nice too.They have a very good cuisine and this place is good for a romantic dinner as also for a family dining.But it's a little bit out of the city centre and so you will probaly need a car if you don't wanna take the 30 minutes walk from the city hall / market square.If you're looking for good italian cuisine you inside the city centre you may check "Ristoarnte Buona Sere" only a 3 minute walk away from the city hall. in this beautiful restaurant as family group of four. the building itself is medieval and full of charm and character. the staff was very friendly and efficient. the menu was excellent. I had chicken in a creamy marsala sauce and it was for...the. eating was also very cheap, in consideration of quality. the only easy part is that if the weather is warm and they eat outside, the nearby train and street noise is considerable, albiet behind trees. but I wouldn't say that. a quality place.
