Ristorante La Romantica

Goldberg is not a sophisticated area, serving mainly a local catchment. I was expecting reasonable pizza and pasta, but not much else. To test them out, I ordered Vitello tonnato (daily special) followed by Saltimbocca. I have had Vitello tonnato many times in Italy, and it sorts out the men from the boys among the chefs. It can be divine or it can be inedible. This was up there with the best I have had, and served in a very original and attractive way. A real treat. The saltimbocca, wine and service were also very good. Recommended .

We stayed in a hotel in the residential area of Sindelfingen and this Italian restaurant, just a street away, was a welcome change from the hotel dining room. Since the three of us have ordered a large salad, a pasta dish and a pizza, the server was friendly to offer the dishes in three portions. Everything was authentic Italian and the red wine was appropriate. We can only recommend this restaurant.

Pizza is our favorite but thought the rest of the food was average. When you don’t want to cook it’s nice to call in order and pick up. Pre-cut the pizza in slices would be helpful. Good for Family-friendly or date night. Indoor/outdoor seating. Get some ice cream across street afterwards in Berliner Platz. *Staff should not sit and smoke outdoors beside customers.

Coldest night in years , a short walk from our hotel. This nice Italian restaurant was busy as there was a major exhibition on locally. It’s warm comfortable and exactly what we needed after a day standing up at work. Food is good wine better and the service excellent. Not overpriced , and very convenient.

Very nice Italian restaurant. My wife was really positively surprised by the gluten-free pizza Napoli. The pizza is huge and very tasteful. As a starter we had the common Antipasta record, which was very good. The waiter was friendly and spontaneous.
