This very busy restaurant has a huge terrace with great views to the paddocks. Inside is very tastefully decorated, excellent fixed menus a good choice of other dishes plus a substantial wine/drinks list, all of which comes at a price. We have been dining...here a few times the only reason why we do not give stars is the unfriendly treatment when a small group of us wanted an afternoon aperitivo on the terrace we were declined. Undeterred once two of us tried again a few months later were rebuffed once again. Everytime I am in Berlin, this is one of my MUST destinations. I've been coming here with my family for years now and we always have a fantastic time. The food is really Michelin-star-quality, the wine list is excellent, the service is wonderful. Mr. Maresca's...personal touch makes his guests feel very much at home. Not only do families here feel welcome, even couples can have a very romantic dinner for two. The view of the chestnut lane behind the polo field is just breathtaking in summer, so if you get the chance, grab a table outside on the porch. But, the fireplace room in winter is just as good. Whether you have the menu or ala carte, enjoy. I can highly recommend this place.
