RITA'S ICE in Berkeley Heights, NJ is a great place for ice or custard on a hot day. I have the cherry ice cream and my husband has the lemon ice cream. Both were good! The service is great when the lady named Bridget is here!! The guy with the gray hair is a little slow to serve the customers, but nice enough. A very nice building with an Italian feeling.
Do not expect them to be open on a snow-covered February night, but we pass after a good dinner about what to do for dessert. Pleasantly surprised and we have something to go to hit the snow home. Staff friendly and helpful.
No great experience. 1 younger employee does not know the flavors. I overloaded and called him and he looked at me. He had no answer. If he's never going back, he touched his balls. I threw away my purchase.

Can't go wrong with Ritas, and I'm standing here! These people have great service and are quick and friendly. As always, the Custard and the ice are highest.
Many flavors, custard, ices, outdoor seating and plenty of parking. A fun place to sit and eat your custard.
