A former friendly local cafe has recently been transformed into a pseudo restaurant rendezvous that demands a visit due to its exquisite coffee and fabulous food. Cakey snacks, inventive soups, savoury sandwiches and vivacious salads queue up to tantalise your taste buds against a simple hole-in-the-wall local store type atmosphere. Why go downtown Albury when you can get everything you need plus quark just around the corner? Rita may have been a meter maid to The Beatles but to me she's my caffeine/food solution.

Travelling through to Melbourne this little gem was a great little stop. We had yummy sliders and beautiful soup, with great coffee. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts- we were made to feel right at home.

A new invention of a previous attempt at a local eateries and this time they seem to have got it right. Simple, tasty, fresh options with different daily specials. All served by friendly staff with good coffee.
