We were today, on a Sunday, at the Hotel Restaurant Ritter Jörg for lunch with the family. The building makes a very good impression both from the outside and from the inside, the toilets are very clean and modern. Now to the restaurant: The decor in a slightly older style looks great and also fits totally to the flair of the old town in Sommerhausen. The staff is very friendly and very attentive to their guests. Since we were there five, of course we tried everything possible in food, pizza, pasta, fish and meat, everything tasted very well and was finished even after a short time ~15min), felt even faster. Beautiful and clean rooms. Spacious suite with well maintained bathroom. A plus was the coffee machine for the morning. Even our dog felt comfortable in the room under the window, it was pleasantly quiet and well isolated. The inn has an excellent kitchen. Rare such a perfectly grilled salmon eaten to the point exactly cooked. The vegetables and pasta with seafood were also excellently prepared.
In my opinion, the best hotel in the area is cleanliness. Friendlyness on the part of the staff is always to be expected and the food in the on-site restaurant is excellent. Lastly, it should be mentioned that the boss and the boss are always happy to help and are super nice. So there is nothing in the way of a visit
