Once and never again!!! This restaurant didn't deserve its name. We had reserved a table for 18.30 and were the first, all the other tables on the terrace were free. The arrogant boss put us on the full ashtray right next to the dressings. Our request to get another table was ignored! . The food was catastrophic and for the ambitious price in no way justified: The risotto was frozen and warmed up, the pizza tasteless. Serving such a thing is a great insult. The only beautiful is the atmosphere and the garden, but a bit more care would do well. Especially the spoiled climbing plants do not make a good impression.

We have always been happy to go to Pentecost to Deidesheim for years. One of our highlights is a dinner at the Riva. Tatar, whether tuna, beef or crabs is just delicious. Also convince the other appetizers. The steaks were a little more through than medium Rare but still very fine. The staff is very good. For this, a star more than the possible 5. In dessert, the chocolate bomb is exactly what it promises, a true taste explosion. The price-performance ratio is absolutely super!

The appetizers such as Beef Tatar and Vitelo tonato were very good. The homemade bread selection was even excellent!! The main dish Ravioli with black truffles and Roastbeef in Wagyu-Styl is considered to be satisfying. The individual components were all fresh and of good quality. The sauce Bernaise and the homemade fries are very good. The beverage recommendation in the house is good and recommended.

Pleasant ambience and attentive service. Food was unfortunately a mixed experience in the group: The fish was very well prepared, the steaks (unfortunately no photo available) were rare as medium/medium rare as ordered. The food was really delicious and the ambience we enjoyed very well. Our conditions were extremely friendly and attentive. However, there is a deduction because the protons are quite small at high prices. Nevertheless, the Riva is definitely recommended if you want to spend a special evening
