Had the lunch special here which was quite expensive compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Thought I would give it a try hoping the quality would be higher considering the cost. I ordered the beef lo mein lunch special but was told fried rice doesn't come with the meal unlike other places. Was disappointed when I opened up my meal and got a small sized portion of lo mein, half an egg roll, and old goey rice for $13.82. A regular order of beef lo mein here costs $12 w/o tax so I don't see how this is a special. Not to mention my white rice had brown goey parts in it indicating it was sitting around for a long time. I hosted a dinner for my son's graduation party with 20 guests, and everyone enjoyed the food immensely! We kicked things off with a selection of appetizers, and the boneless ribs were the best I've ever had! Each person chose their own main courses, and once again, nobody was let down! The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the service was outstanding. I’m really looking forward to dining there in the summer so we can sit outside by the water and take in the view of NYC. I wholeheartedly recommend River House!

River House is not disappointed. We are here several times and the food is delicious, consistent and reasonable price. This time we ordered yang chow fried rice, chicken curry, mango chicken, beef with Chinese broccoli, and sweet and sour pork. All very good plus a view of the city and next to the Hudson River. For this visit I liked the Yang-Chow and the sweet and sour pig. Our bill was about $100 for a group of 4, plus tips. Service is friendly and fast.

Tony and his team have revamped the delightful Jade Village menu while still keeping the classic dishes that established Jade as the best Chinese restaurant in Rockland County. Pork belly/sliced duck bao? crispy jumbo shrimp with honey walnut general TSO sauce, general TSO chicken, both with rice, dessert, made on site, spumoni Bomba, we go once a year on our was through and have never been disappointed. Seating by the window overlooks the Hudson River and NYC midtown skyline. Pictures tell the rest of the story!

Great food awesome view! Lunch price is very reasonable. BBQ pork and General Tso are must try! The hot and sour is also great! The host waiter are very friendly! Thank you very much for an awesome lunch experience. Go fo the awesome food and enjoy the view! Ask to be seated by the window and get a River view New York.

Good delicious cantonese style Chinese cuisine is served here. The food is well prepared and delicious. Staff are very polite and nice to customers. The place is very well maintained. They also offer seating on the river bank! This place is worth a visit.

Lunch specials are a great price. Lunch item, soup or egg roll rice $12 -14. Chicken was very good. Would recommend the chicken and garlic sauce ?

We order the special rice and the sour and sweet chicken both were amazing and the price is right for the taste and the portions.
