friendly staff serve hot fresh Thai dishes from the menu side of vegetarian and vegan options. the clear mushroom soup meets with expected aromen: zilantro (coriander,) kaffir limette, galangal and lemongrass, perfectly seasoned (not too hot, not mild). both were tasty, but strangely neither contain tofu nor aubergines. (I think the waiter has misunderstood ours. there was a [mistaken] cultural struggle against soy in Britain, so he probably thought that I wanted to avoid for this little place making a welcome evening for the hungry vegans demand Asian food near alton. a solid 3.5 stars.

Pretty authentic Thai cuisine. Living in Thailand, I never expect too much when going to a Thai restaurant in the UK, and hardly ever do so. The River Kwai Restaurant in Alton was a pleasant surprise when I took my nephew there for a meal. The Thai meal I enjoyed was very well cooked by the Thai staff there. As expected, it was not as spicy as I 'm used to, but additional 'prik nam pla ' made it just right. Plenty of seating inside (quite close together), good, friendly service and reasonably priced, I would certainly return here for another meal.

Best Thai restaurant around! So reasonable, authentic delicious food and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Better than any other Thai in Alton and any chain-Thai reastaurant (like over-priced Giggling Squid) around! Reserva una mesa ahora
