Tried this place on a Saturday night, four of us and a couple of the grandchildren. This place used to be the River Kwai which was a fairly run of the mill place and tired. Thankfully the new owners have renamed the placed and freshened...it up a lot so its quite pleasant inside now and the staff are smiling and friendly and helpful. There is a good range of entrees available starting around the $5 mark and up to around $12 , the average price is around $8 for say, satay sticks or spring rolls or curry puffs the usual Thai stuff. A large group of friends and I went out to dinner. Everything was great. I especially enjoyed the spring rolls, they were very tasty. The pork belly dish was good, but it didn't have the crispy texture I was expecting. Overall, it was still delicious and I'm glad to have found a good Thai restaurant in the city.
d thai food is a wonderful Thai restaurant located in the area. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. This small restaurant allows you to bring your own alcohol and offers a diverse menu including daily blackboard specials, a $11 lunch menu, and their regular menu options.
Thought I'd give this place a go hadn't been for a while and wasn't aware of the name owner change. Just wanted a quick takeaway and wow, this place did not disappoint! Had a beautiful chicken Panang curry Pad Thai. Certainly hit...the spot and surprisingly really well priced. I'll be back! :

Girls lunch and decided to try DThai Street Food at Weston. What a nice surprise. Food was very good. Can BYO or wine list. We shared three dishes and all were good Pad Thai, Beef with basil and chilli and Prawn with garlic and...pepper sauce, delicious. Can't wait to go back again.
First time there since they changed hands wow! Two entrees and a main course and all were brilliant. The deep fried rice paper rolls were fantastic, followed by magnificent duck with herbs presentation was terrific. The Beef Laab was the best I have...had. Will be back.
Fast service. Portion sizes could be a little bigger for the prices they charge. The salad that came with the meal looked like it had been sitting on a bench and not in a fridge.Compared to other Asian places I have eaten at these meals...are small.
the aubergine court is excellent and for us will be a subscript court when we go back. pleasant and fast with ease an additional bonus.

We eat here regularly and although quality can vary, most of the time the dishes are very good .. .especially the green curry.
I recently visited this restaurant and within the past year, we have become regulars there. We highly recommend this place.
