I never wrote a restaurant review before but I felt the need to do so for River Mill. This is the first time a restaurant’s food had left such a good impression on me that I was planning out the review as I was still eating my meal! My family was seated quickly and the first thing I noticed was how much natural light the tall windows let in. The atmosphere in the restaurant is quiet and serene, a beautiful place to relax and just enjoy your food with your loved ones. I had a car maintenance nearby and my family came in to pick up to have brunch together. After searching online, River Mill got our eyes. The interior looks chill. Our hostess is very welcoming. Since we were hungry, we decided to order five brunch dishes. Everything came in very delicious. Our group had 4 adults and 1 child, 5 dishes which is too much for us. There were still half of the grill cheese, half of the Benedict and fries. We started to eat slow and had some conversation when we ate and shared the rest . Maybe our server felt like we can't finish the food, so she asked if we were done with the food. I told her we were still enjoying them. Then another young boy server came to ask...

Food was delicious!!! Apps were by far my fav! One persons main dish was very delayed coming out while everyone else’s arrived Overall. It was a good dining experience. I will say the busboy Jameson went out of his way to clear the appetizer dishes and ensure our pitcher of water was full throughout dinner. He def worked very hard throughout the time we were there. Our waitress was very nice as well.

This is a wonderful place. One of the most authentic and comfortable pub taverns that I’ve been to on this side of the Atlantic. Excellent neighborhood setting, street presence, sense of arrival and energy. Chow and service fantastic to boot. It’s certainly not easy to get all of this right. Perfect execution. Bravo.

The food at this unassuming restaurant is always terrific! Appetizers, salads, burgers or the crab cakes or halibut! Have never, ever had a bad meal here in all the years we have gone. And the wine selection is pretty reasonable too! Can't go wrong here. Small but cozy outside dinner area as well as bar area.
