Never experienced anything like this, no matter the type of restaurant. So for me this review is about the management not the food. The food is actually ok, fresh and well cooked, however I will not return this place. Being ripped off is not something I take lightly and when the restaurant manager then starts shouting at you when they automatically added over £10 to my bill for a table charge it is why I titled this review a rip off and beware. We were not that hungry so only chose 3 starters for the two of us with quite a few poppadoms. Our bill amounting to over £35 was overlooked when I paid in the early evening, it wasnt until the next day I realised. Oh they also never gave us the recie...
We’ve been going there for the last 10 years and it’s easily the best Indian in Caversham. The food has never disappointed and the service has always been good. The only downside is that it can often be a bit quiet but I’d still highly recommend it to anyone around Caversham.
Went for meal with friends. One friend has a gluten intolerance but very cautious due to staff apparent lack of knowledge of ingredients. It would certainly help if this information was on the menu to take away the guess work. Very slow service on this visit.
The food was delicious. The owner was very helpful, but some of the wait staff seemed to have trouble understanding some of the menu items. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely come back to eat here again.

Really friendly, welcoming staff Attentive but discreet. Atmosphere was really good gentle background music that was not invasive friendly feel to the restaurant. The food was utterly amazing Will definitely be returning.
The food at this restaurant is incredibly tasty, with perfectly balanced spices. While the service was a bit slow, the staff is very attentive and responsive when you need refills or menus.
Just had the most amazing Keema Peas and Channa Massala! Never had a bad meal here. Always served by friendly staff. Great location by the river.
