While I appreciate the attempt at comparison, this place doesn't quite measure up to Philz in the Bay Area. We decided to give it a try based on reviews that mentioned Philz, and since we are in Richmond, Virginia, we wanted to see for ourselves. The coffee was good, but not exceptional, and the selection is nowhere near what Philz offers, despite what some reviews suggested. Additionally, I think it's important to mention that the soap dispenser in the one functioning restroom has not been refilled. It's concerning to see customers, and possibly staff, leaving without having washed their hands properly. It seems like it's been out for quite some time!

Really great little coffee shop/lunch spot/breakfast place! The new owners have done a wonderful job of thoughtfully setting up the space. There are outlets at each seating area, so you can easily plug in your laptop to get some work done. The window seat area even has a couple electrical outlets. Free WiFi. Great service! The plants add a nice touch to the space as well. It's usually pretty easy to find a parking spot on the street. There are also outdoor tables and benches,

Trying out a new coffee shop today and I definitely picked the right place. I got a dirty pumpkin spice chai latte, an orange scone recommended by the staff, and a bagel sandwich. It?s a very cozy shop with chill music and kind staff. They even brought my drink and food to my table! The only note I really have is that the seating could be more comfy, every table is connected by a wooden bench and there are pillows to use, but I wouldn?t spend a long time sitting here for

i like coming here most of the time to work but once in a while one of the baristas blasts really intense music that completely ruins the relaxing coffee shop atmosphere. it’s really hard to study and i have to blast my own music louder than is comfortable to drown out their music. i like it here but this makes it hard to keep coming back/if i see that barista working i usually just leave tbh Reserva una mesa ahora

Very cute, bright, plant-filled coffee shop! Fast and friendly service and delicious coffee drinks. I had a Veg Head sandwich that tasted fresh with lots of veggies and soft, fresh bread. For coffee I opted for a soy latte with lots of spices in it (forget the name but it was one of the speciality lattes). Will definitely be back!!

This restaurant has a really charming ambiance both inside and outside. While they don’t permit dogs inside, they do provide a water bowl on the porch for your furry friends! They have a wonderful assortment of adorable mugs available for purchase, along with a nice variety of brands and syrups to choose from.

Love this place! We have become regulars here, it’s a critical piece of our weekend routine! Highly recommend the veg head and cheese and egg breakfast sandwich. Best coffee in church hill by far, we like the chai latte and the almond joy drinks. Must try if you are in the neighborhood!

Every time I visit, the staff is incredibly friendly. They've started offering 1-3 tasty vegan baked goods each day, along with a vegan sandwich.

The coffee here is excellent. Just a heads up, all the outdoor seating is in direct sunlight after around 10 AM.
