Riverside Fish Chips

Whenever we are out and about in our motor home fish and chips has to be part of our trip, being celiac I looked on google for gluten free and Riverside fisheries was the closest. We drove about 12 miles to get there and I can tell you it was definitely worth the drive. The fish was superbly cooked in nice crispy batter and the chips were cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to call again when next in the area. Thanks guys , from a satisfied Yorkshire man.

We drive from Colchester regularly for F&C’s from here and eat down on the Manningtree walls even have the emergency ketchup bottle in the car at the ready!! Recently managed to hire their mobile unit for our wedding evening party, they parked up on our drive and smashed out 80+ guests in no time at all and to the same high standards with not a complaint in the house,. Thanks again guys, keep up the good work…

The food quality at this restaurant has greatly declined from when it used to be good. The serving size for a pack of chips is very small and mostly made up of scraps from the bottom of the tray. Additionally, the prices are unreasonably high.

Fantastic gluten free options cooked in a separate fryer! The wait is a bit longer for gluten free items but well worth it. The shop has a really cool retro American diner feel to it and parking out front.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are fantastic and definitely worth the trip from Felixstowe.
