Roaches Lock Inn - Reserva de mesa

Called in for a bite to eat with two friends. I had the steak sandwich. I know it’s only a sandwich but when the chef (Malcolm) asks “how would you like it cooked”, that is a good sign. The sandwich came with home made coleslaw and salad. A simple dish, easy to get wrong, this was superb. Fresh, tasty and delicious. Thankyou Ebony for very attentive table service. I wish the new owner, Karen and all her staff success.

Absolutely amazing, I visited the Roaches Lock inn When I visited my son and girlfriend, We didn't have food as we had already eaten, but the sevice and atmosphere were amazing so comfortable and relaxing. When I'm up there again will make a point of calling in again. I highly recommend a visit for everyone, beautiful surrounding countryside too, as I'm living in Eastbourne, this is a lovely change for me....

We come tea time there was 7 of us we been before but won't be coming back the service was not good there didn't have any milk so we could not have a coffee the pie was put in a microwave and the apple crumble it was soggy and the staff was just sat round a table we booked for 4 the only thing that was cooked fresh was the chips how we waited it should been fresh

We enjoyed the food and the staff were friendly and efficient . Will definitely go again..My only constructive criticism would be, that they were short of milk to make coffees etc. ,.Surely the manager could have an emergency supply until the regular delivery is made.Seems they are losing custom for such a preventable solution. Absolutely amazing food! I asked for a blue steak and omg the chef delivered, we were a party of four and devoured the lot, cannot recommend enough, we will so be back x

Had a few pints bottle of wine didnt have anything to eat lovely pub staff very pleasant Stayed overnight in the carpark in our campervan we will definitely be back

Nice pub beer garden overlooking the Canal. Only had a pint of Thwates bitter. Expensive but it tasted watered down so rather disappointed.

Very friendly staff, excellent service and the food was delicious. Our dog was very much welcomed. Will definitely be returning soon.

I really loved the place and the salmon meal I had. Also, enjoyed walking around the river next to the pub.
