I've been here a few times to drink and it's a great atmosphere... But this time I decided to come drink. We had some entrees, which were great!!! However one of the entrees I ordered was not available yet because it was a new menu... The mains were only ok, which sucked after the amazing entrees. We were seemed in view of the kitchen could see that the food sat there for a while before being taken to a table. I think the wait staff don't quite look after tables sufficiently.. Each time we could get their attention we could order more drinks where it was quite clear we were close to empty or empty. I guess this is western suburbs though.

Roadhouse Bar and Grill is the restaurant inside Atura Blacktown. It serves a range of modern australian dishes and we came here for dinner during our stay at the hotel. To start we ordered the Chambord and vanilla sour and negroni cocktails. The chambord and vanilla sour was recommended by the waitress as her favourite cocktail and it’s not hard to see why, it was a perfect concoction for lovers of sweet cocktails like me. Lured by the promise of poolside Frozen Margaritas $15) and High Tea $45/person) I parked myself under one of the swishing hula-skirt umbrellas for the afternoon. It’s a very modern high tea rendition with the customary cucumber sangers switched out for sliders, Reuben sandwiches and grilled cheese toasties.

Steak is really good here. It is a small menu and not too many people every time we go. Service is a bit slow especially since it was empty but every one left happy. We were a group of 15. Prices are probably a bit expensive for the area.
