Roaming Bison Tavern

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! My family drove an hour to get here after my husband found this grill spot online. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. I had the Cuban sandwich, and the corn cakes were delicious. My family sampled almost every type of meat and side on the menu and even took some food home. The owner, Greg, came out to chat with us and was very personable and friendly. The dining area is spacious and well-decorated, providing a lovely atmosphere. It's a great place for people of all ages and sizes. I highly recommend it for a BBQ date night or a family outing—11/10!

Based on my first experience, I can confidently say that I will definitely return. It started off on a great note with the incredibly friendly service I received over the phone. I was uncertain about which sauce to choose for my wings, and I received an excellent recommendation. All the sides I tried were fantastic—I particularly recommend the hush puppies, which were super crispy and perfectly seasoned. The sauce they come with is both spicy and delicious. The wings themselves were outstanding. The bar area has a great vibe and an impressive menu. I can’t wait to visit again!

We had an incredible meal at Roaming Bison that we won't forget anytime soon! As big fans of BBQ, we tried not to set our expectations too high, but the food completely exceeded them! Each type of meat was cooked to perfection, the sauces were unique, and there was an abundance of delicious sides to choose from. The owner and chef came out to check on us, and when he learned it was our first visit, he took the time to share his process, inspiration, and journey. This is some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had! We can't wait to go back!

What a wonderful find this place was! I was visiting the area, and my Uber driver recommended it so I gave it a shot. Truthfully I was skeptical at first. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! Super friendly. Very helpful and engaging proprietor. Generous pours. Best selection of Bourbon anywhere. And the BBQ!!! Without a doubt this place has the very best wings I've ever had. Great experience from start to finish. Called ahead to see if they could accommodate my large party and the gentleman was super friendly. Arrived an hour later and his attitude was just as great and friendly. Greeted us with a smile when he was in the middle of working at the bar. Looks like he is juggling a lot but you could never tell by his attitude. Very reasonable prices and a very pleasant experience.

OMG, heavenly is all I can say!!! Please, if you have not been- GO NOW!!!! Everything we had was amazing- the smoked wings, the brisket sliders and the Mac cheese and, let's not forget the awesome CUSTOMER SERVICE! I felt like the president with how we we're greeted and informed about the menu as first time patrons. We will definitely add this spot as a must go at least 1x a month for sure!!

this is the second meal I had here. the first was the BBQ plate that it was amazing. that was catfish that picked chefs. exceptional! perfect meal to finish a very tempting week! 10 out of 10 would recommend. Look at her, you won't be disappointed.

I took my Dad there. It was formerly called Nortel's. We used to go there for fish when we were kids. I thought my Dad would get a kick out of the changes. He loved it and really loved the ribs and the Bourbon selection that they made for him! Reserva una mesa ahora

Food and service are exceptional! We ordered blueberry barbecue smoked wings, corn bread, greens and brisket… All of which were nothing short of phenomenal. Our server was very attentive and was thrilled, overall. Highly recommend.

100% better than any other ribs in Buffalo! Sauces are awesome and so are the collard greens! V impressive Bourbon selection! You must try!
