The people at this restaurant are some of the nicest, kindest, and most community-oriented individuals you could ever hope to meet! Their bread, sweets, and treats are fantastic as well! My mom and I love to visit every now and then to pick up some bread (which freezes wonderfully), enjoy lunch, and stroll around town. They typically offer a delicious chicken salad sandwich, and their Asiago beef and cheese is absolutely amazing! I adore this little spot and truly enjoy the town of Walnut!
This charming small-town bakery is fantastic! My wife is a big fan of crispy treats, and she claims these are the best she's had in years. I tried a frosted cake doughnut, and it was really delicious. They also offer homemade Coconut Cream Pie. Make sure to arrive early for the best selection, but definitely make a trip here!
I drove over from Council Bluffs looking for some bakery goodies, only to find a sign on the door stating that the bakery has closed down.
