Jalapeño does not taste like Bell Pepper, one orders it for the hot feel on taste buds. Head Server brings out a Jalapeño pepper to demonstrate they have some in the back where sushi rolls made. We see it, but not what is in our sushi. Head Server breaks the green long pieces of bell pepper and smells them. Did not disagree they are plain Bell Pepper. With an attitude, server offered to correct or credit. Told her to take it to the back where Sushi maker heard saying out loud, WHAT? after Server informing me will take matter to the back, for a decision. The decision is mine, said the Head Server. I was looking for a place to meet a couple of friends in this area that had gluten free vegetarian options. They have some vegetarian sushi options (but not a ton) and will provide gluten free soy sauce. I also got a tofu dish that they said they could make gluten free, but what ended up happening is that they just didn't put any sauce on it and gave me packets of gluten free soy sauce. It was okay but kind of dry, although I do appreciate that I could me more confident that it was actually gluten free! The restaurant has a really nice view of the water!
I visited this restaurant on a whim with a friend looking for some sushi. I have to say, we made a special request for tempura with broccoli, and it was delicious. The flavors were delightful, and I loved the portion sizes. We shared a few rolls, and they were all outstanding, with the Godzilla roll being my personal favorite. The waitress was excellent, constantly checking in on us. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the food here.
I've ordered from this location several times before and it's been always pretty good and fresh. They have a different menu than the Hoboken location. Their tan tan noodles are great. I was pretty disappointed with my most recent order though. My kani salad was pitiful. For $9 the small container was barely full. I know times are tough for shops but this salad felt pathetic.

Picked up lunch the sushi was good tasting, no fishy taste a sign of good quality and freshness. The shumai was absolutely top notch. The shrimp tasted sweet and had the most delicate melt in your mouth softness. Absolutely amazing. The salad and miso soup portions were generous and the prices very reasonable.
The sushi is fresh and tasty, and there are excellent lunch specials available. The staff is very friendly, making the experience even better. It's a convenient location for those who live nearby or are planning to take the ferry.
I use to order here all the time when the service was great. Now it's horrible. Recently they forgot half my order and didnt give me a refund. Most recently there was hair in my food.
Food is always good. Quick delivery too. Can't beat it unless you actually go there to eat, have a beverage, and watch the game.

The food was delicious and arrived earlier than expected. The presentation was satisfactory as well.
Solid food for a great price and nice ambience. Pleasantly surprised and would happily return.
