Dinner with friends. We ordered a selection of starters. Everything was good except the jamon came with some breadsticks that might as well have come out of a packet. We ordered about 4kg of beef from a working cow for seven people. Upon enquiry, this just means a cow that was able to roam around. The term working is historic. The meat was shown to us before it was cooked. Given the quantity of bone and fat, this was a good amount with me struggling to finish it off for everyone else, as usual. The meat was truly excellent. The fries came on the side at €6 euros per plate were no better than supermarket oven chips. Likewise, the piquillo pimientos at €9 per plate were no different than ones...

This restaurant was recommended by our concierge and we expected a lot more than what we got. Right from the time we entered, the welcome was cold. The staff were cold and unfriendly and it set the tone for what was going to be a very poor dining experience. The restaurant is supposedly rated as a Michelin Star reataurant by Spainish standards, but unfortunately the experience was far from it. The amuse bouche that should be complimentary was sneakily charged to our bill, in all honestly it wasnt the best amuse bouche or worth the 3.5 euro for a piece of california roll. Our entrees were beautifully aged steaks that were to have been medium came lightly seared and rare. The staff brushed off...

We had a wonderful experience at Rocacho! We sat out on the terrace as it was a very nice evening. Inside was very nice atmosphere as well. Nice, reasonably priced wine list. We had an excellent Ribera for 32€ that was recommended by our server. I was prepared to spend much more but he steered me to this Ribera and it was a great call. We started off with a scampi carpaccio with an olive oil ice cream...outstanding! We also had Cecina de Buey which is a cured beef from the Leon area....fantastic! For our main entry my wife and I split a 1kg of 90 day aged El Capricho beef from Leon. Wow! So flavorful and tender! Service was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We really had a fantastic ev...

This was the most disappointing experience I have ever had in a Michelin rated restaurant. As a matter of fact, it was our worst experience in Spain and likely one of the worst ever in a higher end restaurant. Service was not good, not attentive, and we seem to be bothering them. The food was very disappointing with the paella being the worst I have ever had. The rice was very dry, burnt, and did not taste good. We orders two the them (see picture) for 9 people and the was a total of 11 shrimps in each. If that was not enough, they were very rubbery . The only good thing was the Cava sangria that was delicious, and the croquet. Save yourself the disappointment and go elsewhere. Reserva una mesa ahora

My husband and I came to this restaurant in Madrid with v high expectations. We were disappointed! My husband ordered a steak which was over $100 (Tbone steak)-the most fatty and tough piece of meat he has ever experienced! First he asked medium rare and it came barely cooked. They brought it back more cooked but tough as shoe leather. My fish (cod) was also not properly cooked- it was under cooked with a sauce on the side that was nice. Service was efficient and waiters v nice but don’t recommend their food!

We went for lunch and had an amazing time. They were so gracious and helped us with our menu choices and also we didnt order too much. Had beef and crab tacos to start. Hubby had the Bull steak and I had the rib eye. Really really good and we had the cava sangria. Omg I was a bit tiddly after as they had put a full bottle of cava in it... we ended up trying the trimisu and they make it at your table and it was amazing! Do not hesitate to give it a try ;

We were a group of 12, the service, food, and ambiance were great. We had the buey, vaca de trabajo and paella del señoret and a couple of appetizers. Everyone walked out of the restaurant very happy with the experience.

The tuna was delicious and the manager recommend the tiramisu. He said it was the best in Madrid. Not sure about that claim, but the presentation was amazing and it was delicious tasting. Reserva una mesa ahora
