Rockaway Lions Club

The Rockaway Lions Club has a notable presence throughout the community, even providing life preservers at a nearby dock. During local festivals, they can often be seen selling hotdogs and spreading goodwill. Their biggest fundraising event is Saturday night bingo, which kicks off at 7 PM and lasts for an exhilarating three hours. Each game is a race to cover the required pattern on your card before anyone else. On our first visit, two friendly locals offered to guide us through the games, making the experience even more enjoyable. I write this as I am back after COVID shutdown of the local bingo. This is truly a fun thing to do on a Saturday night in the otherwise sleepy town of Rockaway Beach. The folks who run the show are very easy going and always helpful to this of us who are amateurs. Snacks are also available.

Bingo! Every Friday night they host a community bingo night. I never knew bingo was so competitive! We had a blast, the people are super friendly. And you can win money! I won 60$ the first night I went, it was awesome! I will definitely be stopping by again!
