What a hidden gem in Glendale! Rockbird is snuggled in a small plaza not too far from the Americana with limited lot parking, but plenty of street parking. The interior has a few seats is very clean, but they've also set up plenty of outdoor seating on the sidewalk. I came here with my girlfriend and got the fried honey bird sandwich with fries while she got the fried wok sandwich with Brussels sprouts. While the sandwich is definitely on the pricier side, it's definitely worth it, considering how large and delicious the sandwich is. Fried Nitro Bird Sandwich with Mac cheese, 3 strips with Chipotle Garlic aoli Cheese fries Dr pepper to wash it all down. The burger was so delicious! They have a nice chunky piece of meat, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Good flavor with the sauce and other stuff they add inside. Mac and cheese was cooked well and had good texture just wish it was a little bit more salty. The strips were delicious too, cook really nice crispy on the outside juicy inside and the chipotle sauce was really good. The garlic aioli was okay, not a huge fan. I wasn't able to eat there but I know if I did it would have tasted that much better because it was cold by the time I got to eat it. Cute lit...
Service was great. The people working there were super nice and professional. The inside of the place was clean and well kept. Food was just as good. I got the Wok, which had like a sriracha and honey glaze which was really good. The chicken was crispy/juicy, and somehow felt a lot less greasy than most places I?ve tried. I got the Kale Taboulli as a side, which was lowkey almost as good as the stuff my mom makes. Really, really impressed with this place, definitely try it if you?re in the area.
Great awesome! Had sharp offers and the nitro sandwich. The sandwich didn't need anything! Crispy chicken, fabulous sauce, perfectly complement Slav and soft bungalow. The offers were crispy and light on the outside and extra soft inside. I wish I could cook like that! Love how easy the chicken seems, I could eat and not feel oily!
Rockbird totally lived up to the hype! The chicken was crispy and juicy. Every bite was absolute perfection. The hard part is trying to decide what sandwich to get with what side. I settled for the honey mustard sandwich and it did not disappoint. The side of mac and cheese was incredible. Will definitely be back.
Amazing food. Chicken sandwich was freshly grilled with high quality chicken breast. The offers were huge and not frozen and baked as usual. They tasted like boneless fried chicken. Both came with one side. The Mac and the cheese were made at home and creamy. Large portions for . Beautiful outdoor seating.
