Rockefeller's - Reservar una mesa

So imma be honest here with this dinner I was shocked by the prices. They are pricey to the eye at first but once my food came the price didn't matter. So for me and father's first time here we ordered the 20oz ribeye, strip steak, the jalapeño lobsterMac and cheese, garlic mash for both steaks, salad, cream of chicken soup, and French onion soup. Ok let's begin with the soups.The cream of chicken was solid very heart warming. The French Onion soup was so good like hands down one of the best I've everhad it was it was so perfectly balanced and flavorful I was just perfect. The salad was ok the creamy garlic dressing was prettygood as well. Now getting to the meat of things the jalapeño lobster Mac and cheese was such a winner it could of been my mainmeal and it would made my day. But the steaks... good lord the steaks, each one was cooked the perfection, excellently seasonedand tender as all can be these steaks are fitting in my top 5 steaks I've ever had in my life. The only thing that dampens themeal slightly were the garlic mashed potatoes. Now they are not bad not in the slightest but I was expecting something smootherbut that I'll admit is a personal preference for me. And must also mention out server Ken was great as well, attentive andwilling to chat. But over all Rockefeller's amazed me and my father with how good everything was. This is by far a place if youwant to treat yourself to great steak dinner this is the spot. Thank you for a amazing meal.

Mixed review alert:: We went here for a bday celebration. We had a total of 20 people. After going around the room asking how people like their food, it was 50/50. Either it was delicious or disgusting. My food(stuffed chicken breast and Mashed potatoeswas moist and delicious) but the lamb chops were either good or under cooked throughout the room. The portion size was alsodisappointing. Everyone who ordered steak was disappointed if it was ordered medium-well or well done. So basically it's hit ormiss here, unfortunately.

If you?re searching for that place with a specific ambiance to take your significant other, or perhaps ???? that small special gathering to treat some friends or family ? Rockefeller?s in Oaklawn, IL is that place great drinks, exceptional food fromthe appetizers main dishes I split the tomahawk steak with my good friend, it was soo seasoned, and seared to perfectionOMG?????oh the dessert tray selection is amazing ??????..I chose the Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake ?..Make that reservation.. Youwill not be disappointed!!!

I really enjoyed this place, the filet mignon was so tender a baby could eat it. The calamari was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The service was average the waitress wasn't as friendly as you would expect from a place like that, but maybe theywere short staff It's not going to detour from going back there again. Overall I really enjoyed the food.

The Chicken was undercooked and it turned my stomach. Could not eat after that. For the prices, I expect waaayy more. And what is with the flies and Justin B music. Kills the ambiance. Our server was divine and that is why the two stars. Will prob besick tonight.
