First time going to Rodgers Real BBQ and will definitely be back for more . Once I arrived I was given samples of the flavorful Spanish rice, very cheese mac and cheese very and the baked beans that were good and sweet. We ordered the St Louis bbq and white meat chicken along with the Spanish rice the baked beans, mac and cheese with corn bread . Everyone enjoyed every bit of the ribs the mild sauce was phenomenal and so was the chicken . Will be back for more .
The ribs here are likely the best you can find anywhere because they’re simply unbeatable. The smoky flavor from the wood fire is fantastic, and the texture is perfect—falling off the bone and tender on the inside, yet crispy on the outside. The homemade sauce is a delightful blend of sweet and spicy, making for a winning combination. The chicken leg was great as well. I plan to update this review after trying all the sides, but the menu looks very promising!
Don't let the location of this food truck fool you. In the parking lot of a U-Haul office is a bbq gem. The smell and smoke of bbq cooking fills the lot and makes your mouth water. If it's your first time coming, I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich with homemade spicy bbq sauce and cole slaw. You will definitely need a fork, a handful of napkins, and an empty stomach when you arrive.
My husband and I stopped at Rodgers BBQ on a whim for lunch. Lucky for us, we were the 5th customers and got a discount on a full slab of the baby back ribs. I went with the mild sauce. This is a fantastic place for simple yet truly delicious cooking. I highly recommend the combo platter, which includes all the meats for just $25. It comes with incredibly moist cornbread that you won't regret. There's comfortable casual bench seating in the back, and my partner is a skilled pit master! Food rating: 5/5.
The portions are great, and the sauce is fantastic with just the right amount of kick. The chicken is tender and delicious. I highly recommend this place for a quick meal or dinner. Everyone was very welcoming, especially since it was my first visit. I’ll definitely return whenever I’m in the area. Thanks again!
One of the best places for smoked Southern-style BBQ in Union County. The portions are generous, and the prices are even better. They're open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 12 PM to 4 PM. If you can, place your order in advance, as it can get busy, but it's definitely worth the wait!
