This restaurant is excellent and conveniently situated right off the 91 freeway at Imperial Highway. The food and drinks were outstanding. Our servers, Humberto and Johnny, gave us exceptional service. The food was delicious, and the tequila was top-notch. We were a group of eight, and the service was remarkable. It was our first time here, and we were thoroughly impressed by the lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Lulu in the business office when I made my reservation, and she was absolutely delightful! Thank you very much! I highly recommend this place.
I've been a fan of this restaurant for a couple of decades, having visited when it was still called Don Jose's. One of my favorite things here is the blue cheese. The service during lunch on weekdays is incredibly quick, but I've had a different experience on weekends. I'm not sure what happened on my last visit; I sat in the bar area and received very slow service during a Saturday lunch, even though it wasn't very busy. It took nearly half an hour just to get two margaritas! Overall, it's a fantastic spot during the week, but I have my doubts about weekends.
Great place right off the 91 at imperial hwy. Good drinks and food. We had Humberto and Johnny as servers and they were amazing. Good food and tequilla tasted wonderful. Party of 8 and the service was fantastic. First time here and very nice service, goodfood and overall ambiance. I ordered takeout from Rodrigo’s restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The staff were quick, accurate, friendly, and well-organized. The chips, salsa, and guacamole were tasty. However, I wasn't very impressed with the chicken burrito; the chicken was quite dry, so I ended up picking it out. On the other hand, I enjoyed the refried beans. I would consider giving this restaurant another try, but I would choose a dish that doesn’t include chicken.

I ordered to drive from this Rodrigo restaurant and had a great experience. The staff was fast, accurate, friendly and organized. The chips and salsa and guacamole were good. I had a chicken burrito and can't say I loved it. The chicken was so dry that I picked it from the Burrito. I liked the roasted beans. I would probably give this restaurant another chance, but would try a dish without chicken.
I had lunch today (Friday of Labor Day weekend) and had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, despite there being several empty tables. The service for taking orders was a bit slow, but after that, everything went smoothly. The food was quite good overall. However, the salsa lacked flavor. I really enjoyed the chimichanga and fajitas. I will definitely be back!
In the past we have enjoyed this restaurant but today was truly disappointing. First of all, my son's drink wasn't delivered until I asked a second time. My drink was wrong. It seemed to take forever to get our food and it was clearly just reheated (dry, leathery, and unevenly heated)

Service was slow but the food was good. Large portions at a reasonable price. To be fair our party of 5 was talking a lot and they may have wanted to let us chat.
This place has awesome and attentive service. My only gripe was that tapatio was the spiciest hot sauce they could offer LOL. I want my mouth to burnnnn ??
