Römerhof - Reservar una mesa

The Römerhof is located in the old part of Arbon town and the restaurant is simply but nicely decorated with clean, white rooms. The menu offers a selection of dishes including food reflecting the chef’s Mauritius heritage. All of the dishes were exquisitely presented; it...was almost a shame to eat them. The food was also of very good quality. The reason I didn’t award five stars is that the prices are quite high and somehow all of us felt that despite the quality of the food, it was too much to spend for a dinner. This is not to fault the service nor the cook – both were very friendly – but the total dining experience fell somewhat short of our expectations, considering the prices.

We stayed here in the Hotel for one night and had the dinner in the restaurant. It was a great experience. The Amuse Gueule was tasty, our starters perfect and the main dishes just great. My daughter is vegetarian and there was actually no real...dish on the menu but the kitchen offered different options. She choose the Vegi Curry which was perfect. Also our cheese to finish the evening was delicious and the chocolate moelleux mmhmhhmhm melting away. Fine dining in a great atmosphere

Gerald Bergue has a small but excellent menu, his dishes are refined and his imaginative cooking makes eating at his restaurant a sheer delight! Extremely fresh products, delicious taste, a good selection of wines, and, very important, a vet friendly and able waiting staff..

I love the ambiance and the location. Really nice place for a special event. Once upon a time was just great to go there. Now, sorry that the food and service does not correspondent with the price anymore.

simple, quiet restaurant layout with old charm. the food was excellent and delivered with excellent service. recommend the beef tar as starter.
