We stopped in for a quick drink to escape the rain and were pleasantly surprised. The landlord greeted us warmly as we entered. We were offered a free sample of his ale, which convinced me to order a pint. The outdoor beer garden, with its large canopies, provided a great atmosphere despite the weather.
