This place is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine! I'm so glad there's a spot like this in South Melbourne. The service was fantastic from the start—friendly, very helpful, and knowledgeable. We kicked things off with some sake oyster shots and indulged in more than one each. The oysters in six different preparations were absolutely incredible! You really have to try that. We also enjoyed the Japanese tasting plate and prawn ravioli with sesame prawn toast as our appetizers, and for our main courses, we had the veal cutlet with pistachio and Parmesan crust and the Chinese roast duck breast. There's a new event in town called "8th at 8," and I was fortunate to be invited to its inaugural gathering on September 8th, 2019. The idea behind this event is simple: on the 8th of every month at 8 PM, guests will enjoy a unique eight-course meal, specially curated by the chef for that evening, alongside seven other diners. The first event took place at Rokkbank Co in South Melbourne, where the entire venue was closed off to create a more intimate dining experience. Upon entering the stunning location, we were warmly welcomed with drinks (who doesn’t love a little bubbly?), and we took some time to explore the venue.

My wife and I went to Rokkbank and co. For our anniversary and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, beautiful, and served in a very timely manner. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the cocktails and wine were excellent. All of this for a very reasonable price. And that doesn't even cover the decor, it is a very welcoming atmosphere and has been designed meticulously. It has the feel, taste, and service of a high end restaurant with the price that doesn't break the bank. I highly recommended giving it a try. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful new venture featuring ex-Mattel’s chef,<br/ <br/ Gorgeous dining space with blue banquettes underground cellar with glass ceiling.<br/ <br/ Menu is simple yet refined. Each dish exquisitely presented flavoursome. Highlight was the beef, but all the mains were superb.<br/ <br/ Desserts were next-level. All three were superb.<br/ <br/ An instant classic. Everything about this restaurant was fantastic. The waitstaff took great care of us from the very beginning, and the menu was outstanding. We opted for the "feed me" menu, and an abundance of delicious, fresh food kept coming our way. They also offer a wonderful selection of cocktails, and the wine pairings were excellent. We're definitely looking forward to returning soon.

My fiancé and I decided to give this new place a go and didn’t get to see any photo before coming so everything was a surprise. When we first entered the setup was very classy and fine dining feel to it. The service I can say was very excellent and professional but the food was the star each dish we had was very good and tasty.

The experience at Rokkbank Co was amazing. The service was exceptional. All the wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and fresh. The overall look of the restaurant is exceptional. It was my first time tonight. Loved it so much I’m coming back again tomorrow!

Exceptional dining at this recently opened restaurant in South Melbourne. Everything was perfect from flavourful, technical yet approachable Asian fusion food, to the exquisite luxe fit out of the dining space.
