After reading all the great reviews, I had high expectations for this restaurant. However, I was extremely disappointed after spending over $100 trying a variety of dishes. Not a single dish tasted good, including the supposedly simple California roll. The rolls all had a bland flavor, with a hint of tap water taste. I was disgusted by the lack of quality in the food. I believe even 7/11 has better sushi. The low prices now make sense to me. I thought I had lucked out, but I was wrong. I would not recommend this restaurant. The food at this restaurant is good and satisfying, especially when it comes to basic rolls. However, I would only give it 3 stars because the customer service leaves something to be desired. The staff at the front counter could use some training. On a recent visit, we asked for extra spicy mayo and were initially given only one for 10 rolls. When we requested three more, the employee reacted with rudeness, rolling her eyes and begrudgingly providing them while informing us they cost an additional 25 cents each. I recommend ordering in advance when visiting this restaurant as both times I have come here, there have only been 2-3 people ahead of me and it still took 20-25 minutes to receive my fresh roll. The owner should consider hiring another cook to speed up the service. I was not the only customer who was dissatisfied with the wait today. However, the cashier was friendly and the rolls were tasty. Overall, the service was slow, but the food was good. This is a great spot for a quick takeout lunch at a reasonable price. I give the food a rating of 5, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 3. I recommend trying their rolls.
I have officially found the best sushi ever! Everything was extremely fresh and delicious. They took great care in packaging every dish, even wrapping mini plastic bags around all the sauce cups to protect them. The restaurant offers a variety of creative and appetizing rolls. I ordered through door dash and my food was prepared quickly and accurately. The stuffed jalapeños were absolutely delicious and had a nice kick to them. I also tried the Sunshine Roll and Flaming Joy roll, which were both flavorful and satisfying. I will definitely be returning and next time I might dine in to experience the ambiance.
