Romanacci has been my go to place for many years. Unfortunately my last experience has given me pause to go back . I ordered the veal Marsala which came with veggies . I asked the server to please sub the veggies for pasta . He said it was a 4 dollar surcharge and they took out the veggies … Really …Also the pasta portion was less than a half of cup .This is not about the 4 dollars, It’s their inflexibility to give me a simple ask to ensure a great foodi experience. Instead they made a big deal about it . Did you forget about making a customer happy which was hardly a cost to you .My partner has been in the restaurant business for many years … He thought it was a joke ..sadly it wasn’t.
Oscar deserves props . They’ve got quite the employee there! We are regulars at their Trumbull location thought we would visit this site before a musical event at NCC yesterday. Oscar was the server for the bar the entire dining area, all while simultaneously training a teammate. We were impressed with his ability to make his hard work look easy. I would give 5 stars but unfortunately my salad was poorly designed. The Honey Ricotta was stated on the menu but not the balsamic Glaze. Unfortunately combining honey on the ricotta sweet glaze on the greens made for a dessert not a salad. My husband’s pizza was great though so I was happy to help him that.
Love love love this place. Cute atmosphere with amazing pizza. They serve unique pies, which are all thin-crust and savory (the Rapini and Colosseo pies are to die for! . Can’t go wrong

10/10 loved every bite. Such a cute little place! We ordered calamari, pizza, and chicken scarpariello. Everything was so delicious! Can't wait to go back.
First time here and came as friends recommended it. We’ll be back. We each had an appetizer then shared a pizza. Very happy with our selections.
Food is decent and for a good price, You're definitely not overpaying. They expanded the dining area much more relaxed much more comfortable.
Nice place for an Italian cuisine…don’t forget to check the desserts menu. We end up starting with dessert menu all the time ?
