We often enjoy the food at this restaurant, but last night was quite disappointing. The service was a bit slow, and when I received my iced tea, I noticed lipstick on the rim of the glass after taking a sip through the straw. I informed the waitress, who kindly brought me a new glass, but that kind of thing is really off-putting. Overall, we were not impressed with the food at all. Additionally, the tables were so close together that we could overhear everyone else's conversations.
The stuffed mushrooms were overdone and too greasy. The shrimp linguini dish I had was seasoned too strongly and very greasy. The Blue Bleu salad with salmon had a mayonnaise dressing that was bland, and the salmon was overgrilled and dry. The service was slow although our waitress Julie was great, but the bar and kitchen were slow. With all the competition in the area, they really need some good advice on their menu and how things are cooked and seasoned. We would never return.
I've never been let down by Romano's. Although I hadn't visited this location before, the food, drinks, and service met the high standards I've come to expect at their other locations. I was craving pasta that evening, and it certainly hit the spot. The service was friendly as well.
Our food was exceptionally oily. The servers did not wait until all members of our party finished their soup and salad. They never asked if we needed more bread for a table of 4. One member of our party got sick from the mushroom ravioli! No more Macaroni Grill for us! Reserva una mesa ahora
I celebrated my birthday with my girlfriend, and as always, the food was fantastic. The Brussels sprouts are still amazing there!
Amazing Server and Service! Great experience. Will definitely return to Macronni Grill in Seal Beach.
The waiter, Alberto, was attentive and knew his menu. He made our late lunch extra special.
