"Great mom pop walk in place small but they make you feel at home. Very good pizza and very reasonable. They get the cheese from NJ and know how to make it great. Go!"

After an evening in DC we returned to our hotel rooms. Everyone decided on a late night pizza run. We called the order in around midnight and walked about six blocks to pick it up. The pizza was good. Thought it could have used more sauce. The crust was baked well done. We did eat every slice of 3 large pizza's so it couldn't have been that bad.

I stopped at Rome around 9pm to grab takeout for a late dinner. Decided to with Italian sub and was glad I did. Fresh quality meats, fresh veggies, and sub roll was wonderful. The couple behind the counter were very friendly and helpful and seemed appreciative of having my business. Will definitely visit again!

I ordered a late night gyro here many years ago and I've been hooked ever since. My food was delivered warm, with soft pita bread and generous chunks of lamb. The staff is friendly and they are cost-effective. Be prepared to never want to give them up once you taste them!

Rome's Pizza is run by the kindest couple in DC. They are open late throughout the week. After a long night out, Rome's Pizza is the place to go. It has the best late-night munchies in the District.
