We also dined at the restaurant, and both the food and service were outstanding—definitely a must-try! Sophie attended to us during our stay, and she was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and never once made us feel like we were a bother. Overall, our experience at Romney's was flawless, and we will undoubtedly be returning!
I spent the night in Lodge 3 and was very impressed with the facilities and decor—both are fantastic. I highly recommend the carvery; it was cooked to perfection! The manager and staff were incredibly welcoming. I would suggest this place to everyone and will definitely be returning for a longer stay next time.
what a fabulous recommendation from the beautiful jennifer at travelodge kendal for a great dog-friendly pub. fabulous eating fantastic gin list and super friendly staff. all are here in the seen so friendly! great sticky toffee pud to finish and what a nice touch kendal mint cake with the bill!
Gorgeous pub and gardens, great food and selection of drinks. Play area great but more for older kids as there is a climbing wall and monkey bars. Love it. Oh and staff were lovely. The only fault I have is that the mid week carvery stops at 6.30. Too early!!! We missed it by 15 mins!! Reserva una mesa ahora
Ignore those other reviews, this place was amazing heard about it yesterday me and my friend ventured here and can’t fault a thing, such a good price so warm and cosy, the food is better than I’ve ever tasted and so cheap, great selection of drinks, especially gin! Fully recommend!
I had a fantastic overnight stay at Chick 5. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We had dinner at the pub, and the food was delicious. They even prepared us some sandwiches the following day. I would definitely recommend this place!
Charming place with incredible food, I would highly recommend the mussels in saffron and white wine, awesome. Staff highly efficient and very friendly, can't wait to return.
