I post this review with somewhat of a heavy heart as I want people to know that this bar is genuinely a nice pub with great atmosphere great sport and great drink. Unfortunately, I had somewhat of a poor experience on 18.07.25 when my partner and I were given out to by a member of staff. To set the scene, we ordered two burgers and chips and after 20 minutes or so two burgers arrived. We said to the waitress we also ordered chips. No problem she said, it seems someone hasn’t put it through but she will sort it. Okay great we were really hungry at this stage so we began to eat. About 3 minutes later, the waitress who served us told us we were eating the wrong burgers and were actually eating...

There’s no air inside no fans, windows on one side of the building only, and a hot kitchen with zero extraction. Having a beer while standing outside is okay, but you’d better only be after a Guinness, because their craft options are water. We didn’t have anything to eat, so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt according to what I saw on others’ plates. The personnel is very friendly and happy to help in English. Price per person: €1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

I really like this pub – great food and drinks. However, when I was there yesterday, the staff were surprisingly generous when adding to the bill, and we got overcharged. So just a heads-up: double-check your bill before paying. Price per person: €30–40 Service: 1
