Rooster's Bar & Grill

The building is in a strip mall with sufficient parking. The restaurant seemed to be clean. Washrooms needed a bit of TLC though but not too bad. Waitress was ok. Seating not very comfortable though...wood chairs and booths.Menu is small and not impressive. Had the strawberry fields salad...no strawberries but they substituted red grapes. It was actually very good with apricots, goat cheese and a nice onion dressing. We were in at noon when it opened on a Sunday and there was already guys in drinking beers that were regulars. I think this place does better as a pub than a restaurant.

I attended Georgian College from 2003-2005. During that time, I loved going to Roosters. It was a great atmosphere with good pub food and reasonably priced drinks. I was in the neighborhood on Friday and stopped in for a bite with an old friend. The interior looks alright still. The service was sketchy, the waitress kept forgetting what was on special on what was on tap. The menu is significantly smaller that it used to be. The other annoying thing is not accepting debit, then trying to get some extra revenue by forcing people to pull $ out of their own ATM.

Do not go to this bar if you are from another country!Despite the fact that we have a very successful International Student Program with Georgian College, these 'of age' students will not be served because they have no "Canadian" identification. Despite having an International Passport which is authenticated any where in the world except Barrie ONTARIO CANADA!!!!!...means they can't get a drink.

My wife and I went to rooster bar and grill and I will say the food is great the staff is great the only thing is they don't take debit but they do have a bank machine and as we all know that will cost you to use so if you want great food and the best wings around go to rooster bar just bring cash Reserva una mesa ahora

Back not so ago (2013) this use to be a decent neighborhood bar and grill, now after returning after two years this place is a mess. Slow, rude service and to top it off $18 for a pitcher of beer !!! I'll happily take my business somewhere else in the future. Locker room is near by.

Simple...beer and potato skins....never got the skins. Cancelled the order after 40 minutes. Not even a sorry or whoops. Just ignored it. Asked for bill, still nothing. Save yourself the time and effort. Server Meaghy could care less about you.

Food was great once upon a time many moons ago. Small selection and nothing worth eating. Sad considering the location. If the wings were even edible the would be busy again

Bar was fun, good people and fun karaoke. Get there early to reserve your song! Good place to go for drinks and after work/sports fun.

Service was ok but the food not so good. 7 tiny wings to a lb and the fries were inedible. Commented to waitress but she didn't care.
