Rooted Juicery And Kitchen

Here I got the Burrito and was beyond happy with my choice. All nicely wrapped up is brown rice, mexican beans, pickled onions, guacamole, pico, romaine, cabbage, walnut taco meat and a cashew cheese mix with bbq sauce on the side. Not often does a burrito blow me away, this was awesome! It tasted so fresh and the pickled onion just put it over the top. The burrito came with a kale side salad which I wasn 't really a fan of. The kale didn’t seem very fresh and just really didn’t have much flavor. For a sweet I got a little chocolate bite and it was very oily. My friend felt the same way about her cupcake and didn 't finish it because of that unfortunately.

I was thrilled when this restaurant opened. They offer smoothies, juices, entrees, and raw vegan desserts. So far, I have tried the Whole Bowl, Teriyaki Wrap, and Bombay Bowl, all of which were delicious and satisfying. I also sampled the juices and desserts, including the samoa cookie which was spot on. There used to be a lot of honey in their dishes, but after receiving requests from many vegans, they have reduced the amount of honey used. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, although since they are still new, some dishes may not be consistent when you order them again. But overall, I don't mind because the food is still great.

This spot has a little bit of everything and every single thing here is vegan. They have macaroni and cheese, apple crisp, candy, wine, fresh juices and milks and crackers. I had a green juice and it was fresh and good. I ordered the cranberry muffin and I was a little skeptical about what it would taste like based upon the way it looked; however, it was delicious. I warmed it up and had it with almond milk.

Rooted Juicery offers delicious vegan sandwiches, wraps, desserts, and freshly pressed juices. The menu is completely vegan, with a few exceptions containing bee pollen and honey. I particularly enjoyed the hummus and avocado wrap, roasted veggie sandwich, healthy mac and cheese, and loaded nachos. The desserts were also amazing, especially the Unicorn Macaron. They are always closed during their business hours, their kitchen is always down, they are always understaffed... they blame the covid pandemic on these issues but covid has been going on for almost three years and everyone else has managed to adapt. It comes down to lack of care and effort from the owner. Updated from previous review on 2022-09-04

I love, love, love Rooted. My raw vegan heaven. The smoothies are amazing and when I can't make my own juice it's nice to be able to grab high quality fresh juice. The prices are a little high but that's what you get for quality organic food. I visit both the Rooted locations frequently.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. I left feeling disappointed that we don't have a place like this in Chicago. A definite must-visit for health-conscious foodies.
