Hubby I stopped here first when in the city for the wedding party of a friend back in April, so when we were invited back down for a weekend with friends our first thought was JA!!! We can get more of these amazing hot dogs. We were so impressed by not only how delicious the hot dogs were every time, but the service is better than many upper end restaurants we were. Although all the hot dogs we have tried have been very good, the City Slicker is by far our favorite, the spicy NY Red onion sauce is for dying. I believe that the restaurant has changed hands since our first visit, but this is the only difference, and I prefer the traditional basic beef style Chili offered on our second visit of...
Wow! That's all I have to say! If you are in the area (or even if you are not this place is a great escape from the average food. Low prices, local hot dogs, homemade cheese sauce (Crazy good!, homemade ice sandwiches, and everything was cooked /after / we ordered. Beyond delicious! The atmosphere is fantastic: well maintained jukebox, classic diner decor and a small (but cozy dining area. If I'm back in town, I'll come back 100%! Can't wait for my next meal!
Came here and did not know what to get I’m used to a plain hot dog... was a little nervous to try the Chicago dog I ordered. It was delicious! Nice and neat not messy like I thought it would be but the real gems here are the tots! Dipped them in ranch... was very impressed. Quick service, friendly employees! Will most definitely be stopping again :
Awesome homemade food Awesome unique red potato fries!! Fresh local meats used for dogs n burgers !!! Finished meal with a fantastic huge brownie ice cream sandwich local ice cream !!! Nice atmosphere in dining area 50s stlye, Great tunes I might email Guy Fieri bout this place !!!
