Such a friendly place, came across it last night when my husband and I were having car problems. We had some food and drinks which was great while waiting for help but I cannot thank the hosts and staff enough as being 39weeks pregnant, they offered so much help to make sure we were ok. Even offered us a place to stay for the night. Fabulous hosts with a beautiful place. Thank you again for everything.

an excellent village pub with great food and varied, well maintained real readings. the pub leads the fine line between pub and restaurant with aplomb. there is a large garden and is really welcoming for families. a few reviews here say something else, but it is nonsense: the owners offer toys and a lot of space outside for children. (the Nacho-Sharing plate is my favorite!

I have relatives visiting and earlier this week we just popped out for tea to the Rose and Crown and we all had fantastic meals. I was informed they have a couple of new chefs and if our experience on Tuesday was anything to go by they are brilliant. Our waitress barmaid was also friendly, funny and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks Pete, Donita and all your staff.

We only get to visit this pub once a year . Food is amazing. Service very good and now “ we’re regulars “we’ve got to know Zoe who always serves us . Love this place .

if in the opposite they have to try this jewel of a gasthof. it has a nice atmosphere. the staff was very friendly and our eating delicious. we will return.
