We visited the restaurant on a chilly, rainy evening and received a very warm welcome. We enjoyed a delicious beef stew with colcannon, which was served quickly and cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was broken, but we were more than happy with a serving of ice cream instead. The meal was excellent value and the atmosphere was lovely. The only issue we encountered was finding the restaurant, as there were many one-way streets. Parking was also a bit challenging, but it was definitely worth the effort. Overall, it was one of the best meals we've had in a long time.
I have visited this fantastic "proper pub" in Larkhall twice now. The pub is beautifully decorated and offers friendly and speedy service, along with a fantastic variety of beers and wines. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with plenty of dogs, families, and solo drinkers making it the perfect village pub. The Sunday lunch is exceptional, with generous portions and delicious options. I have tried the shoulder of lamb and Porchetta, both of which were delicious and served in generous portions. I highly recommend this pub.
Gorgeous place. We went with friends from the area and were made to feel very welcome. The entire place is immaculate, and drinks served in proper glasses! They have lots of board games for kids. We really enjoyed a few hours in here with our 6 year old daughter. We'll definitely be back on our next visit.
New ownership. This place is definitely the coolest place to go in Bath. Attractive bar staff, warm welcome, lovely crowd. Faultless. Owner, Warren, trained under Christophe de Tew, Paris..so Michelin trained. Food, sadly, not on because hes preparing ..not to disappoint. Go there..you will not reget

I recently visited this restaurant and had the pleasure of meeting the co-owner and her dog, Noodles. I was impressed by her professionalism and ability to handle multiple roles with ease. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed. I only wish we had come sooner. - Trish Chris
How on earth has the bearded guy who served me at the Rose and Crown on Sunday been allowed to take a customer facing job? Very very rude and such a shame to have a presence like that in a lovely place like Larkhall.
Great food and drinks great find in larkhall short walk from Bath centre has a secret garden out the back , quiz night on Wednesday was great fun. will be back .
Had Mother’s Day lunch there today very very good and service excellent . Was also there last month which made us want to go back and we will go back again.

Went for meal before seeing a show at the Rondo. Food was delicious, good choice of ciders and the landlord very friendly. Would definitely eat here again.
