Rose Garden Chinese Cuisine

The menu offered many selections and the restaurant is decorated much as you would see in local restaurants in many of China city suburbs. We chose a creative dish of eggplant, Tofu, and Green Peppers all stuffed with large prawns and covered in a delicate black bean garlic sauce. The sauce was a little salty and the flavor could have been a little bolder. However the main ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly. The prawns were tender and moist as was the Gently fried tofu and green peppers. The accompanying side of rice was fluffy and did not stick together. Overall a dish worth trying and one you can easily split between two people. Good value meal

I was stuck waiting for a bus for almost an hour and was hungry. There weren't many options in the area, but this place was open. It has the Chinese decorations and I think it is a family place, but it's not done up fancy, which is ok, but nothing exciting either. The food is pretty good and so is the service, but it's an unexceptional place which is too bad, because I don't see too many Chinese restaurants in Windsor, so this one could do better I think. Hope you like it.

I just dropped by the restaurant after glimpsing the rating. It did not disappoint me by virtue of its authentic taste of Chinese food (at least the plate of food). The waitress is not that warm, but all can provide service with efficiency and good attitude. In addition, the restaurant doesn't charge me for white rice, which is alien to me in Canada. Finally, it also provides free fruit, although I didn't eat it. In one word, I strongly recommend it.

Sunday night, appetizers have price. Get two Scottish eggs for the price of one. Good variety of local beers. Wonderful servers. Near the casino. Be sure to get a table away from the door as the cold air flows right in.

My family and I love coming here. This is one of the best authentic Cantonese Chinese foods in Windsor. Their salt and pepper seafood is our fave! We almost always only come here when we want Cantonese Chinese food.
