I want to start by giving a big thank you to Marta, our server, who provided exceptional service to my wife and me. This restaurant has been a staple for as long as I can remember, and it’s clear why it has stood the test of time. One pleasant surprise is that they serve menudo seven days a week, which is definitely a plus. The meatloaf was delicious, and the vegetables and gravy had a uniquely tasty flavor. The music could use some updating, but this is more of a laid-back spot if you’re looking to relax. Overall, I would rate the restaurant's presentation a solid 8.5, mainly because the restroom could use some attention. In terms of taste, I’d give it a 9, and the customer service deserves...
Senior breakfast was quite nice. Eggs were a bit underdone for my taste, but I'll know to order a bit more done next time. The service was amazing, very attentive waiter. Kept our coffee mugs full. Atmosphere was comfortable. Wasn't crowded and we could hear our conversation, didn't have to compete with other diners, music, or noise. Hostess immediately lowered shades so we didn't have sun in our eyes. Thus was my second visit to this location. I will definitely return!
I dined here while my dog was being cared for by the amazing staff at VCA Animal Hospital. The restaurant had a clean, hospital-like scent; I’ve worked in six different hospitals, and I can confidently say this place is cleaner than at least half of them, if not more. The service is excellent, and the breakfast is delicious! I’m torn between naming this my top spot or Rosewood or Shakers in Pasadena.
It was my first visit to this restaurant. The staff was a bit slow to greet us, but once we were seated, our server was attentive and provided excellent service. We ordered the menudo and added some pig's feet on the side, and it was delicious! It's a shame I live so far away; otherwise, I would definitely come back!

The baked dishes were outstanding—both comforting and inventive. I also enjoyed the cooked meals and lunch; they were incredibly flavorful. The staff was friendly, and the establishment was very clean. The omelet was delightful—light, fluffy, and made with fresh ingredients. The latte tea was excellent as well.
I highly recommend this place! The location is great and the service is excellent. Everyone enjoyed their cookies so much that they even bought some to take home for their relatives in Philadelphia. My relatives from the East Coast loved them! Simply amazing!
This charming family-owned restaurant has been around since 1977. The customers are fantastic, and the servers genuinely smile, making for a warm atmosphere. They even serve rice for breakfast, which I absolutely love!
Once again if they have a kids menu they're family-oriented and it's a good place to bring your big family for the more they have a unique menudo posole combination I've never seen before with chicken in it.
